It'll be a great game, two great teams with two great coaches. But in the end Forest Hills last title was in '05, Tyrone's was '04, Coach Franco and the Eagles are hungrier by one year.
Tyrone 14
Forest Hills 8

Agreed, a lot of good points & I think fh should have advantage w/ the better overall squad. But one must factor in the decline of the King! Yea, King Donbo has not fared well in big games last few yrs.....we all know his record vs BM & Tyrone in recent yrs.! Bishop McCort has won 8 of last 12 again FH and Tyrone 5 of last 7; and a loss @ home vs Central last year OUCH. That's like 6 wins and 14 losses in the biggest games he's played in recent yrs...DOUBLE OUCH: that's like 30%. fh with better squad but one never knows now??

The decline of a king? Please! The man has won District Titles in THREE different DECADES! The recent success experienced by some teams in nothing but a snapshot when you take into consideration of how long Coach D.Bailey has been considered to have the top program in the area. The fact is that NO one has done it better longer than Coach D.Bailey.

On the other side of the ball is the only other coach in the area who can be mentioned in the same breath as Coach D.Bailey. What Coach Franco did with this year's team is special for sure. From what the OG is hearing, this needs to year someone does knock off the Golden Eagles. Rumor has it this sophomore class at Tyrone may be Franco's most talented class ever. Scary.

This game will be another classic at Mansion between the two teams that have DOMINATED the D6AA scene for over twenty years. If anyone can put up double digits on FH it would be a Franco coached team. The OG can't wait to see how it all pans out Friday night. Good luck to both teams!

FH is the favorite here, but you know, the game is on Black(&orange) Friday, I'll take Tyrone 3-2, FH defense gets a safety, but German exchange student, Mathia Palaia boots a late 53 yd fg to win it.

obviously you are not referring to 6 wins and 14 losses in the biggest games he's played in recent yrs...as a sign of 'the top program in the area'?

I guess the only big games are against McCort (who FH hasn't played in 3 years), Tyrone (who until this week FH hasn't played in 3 years) and one Central game even though FH plays them every other year?.. Vman, anyone can pick and choose data for statistics to make it look like something it's not.

Last season, McCort was 0-1 in big games, Because steelton was the first good team they ran into in D6A.. LOL! Maybe next year McCort's Varsity will drop down and play JV or Junior High so they can win another D6 Championship*

No matter how you wish to spin it or make lil' gay LOL comments the facts remain the same : Bishop McCort has won 8 of last 12 again FH and Tyrone 5 of last 7; and fh had a loss @ home vs Central last year!

8 of last 12 .. haven't played them in two years. haven't played tyrone in 2 years. What is this relevant to? 2007 when the rangers were 4-6? What are you trying to prove vman? that you're still an idiot for bringing up 10 years ago. Well before those years, what did FH do to BM for about 20 years?.. and yes they lost to Central by 3 points at home.. Central won district 6AA and FH proved that despite 5 or 6 turnovers they could still play with the District Champs. Last years class brought FH back to where it needed to be, a District Championship would've just been icing on the cake. Now the Rangers have a legit shot at D6 and you're going to try to belittle the coaching in big games? The truth is the only big games are playoff games. I guess we all can't have a Bye and two scrub teams on our way to the big time single A playoffs!!! The fact is the biggest game of all in the D6AA title game FH BEAT your Crushers!, and atleast 3 of those losses were direct results from a couple of South Fork transfers that went through and were taught how to play at FH peewee, elementary, and junior high. Just keep winning your D6 A titles McCort, but no one really respects you or cares what you do in D6A.

South Fork, the home of legends....

Vman, why do you choose to bring up the 8 of 12 losses to Bishop McCort but refuse to bring up the only meaningful game between the 2 schools in 10 years, when FH handed an ole smackdown to the Crushers in the D6AA Title game??? Keep them red and gold shades on Vmn and keep scewing them stats.. You always were th bigges D Bag on this site.
