I'm with Ham and stated it more than once on BWI. I am more interested in seeing them play LSU and think it is one of the better bowl games on paper. It is a new team and a team from the SEC. I'm excited.

I'm excited to see that game. I will be shocked if PSU beats LSU.

I am a little shocked that Penn State didn't get the Orange Bowl bid. Not saying they deserve it, just saying I'm pretty sure Penn State has more fans than live in the state of Iowa... Still this was the best way for it to work out (could you imagine how Iowa would feel if we got in and they didn't? They beat us and took Ohio State down to the wire!) I'd rather play LSU anyway, much more of a test than Georgia Tech. Hopefully the experience with an SEC team can carry over to next year when we play Alabama.

Alabama is going to win that game by 45 points next fall.

News flash: LSU is not better than Georgia Tech. If anything, they are pretty even. LSU's best wins are over three 7-5 teams. They have a great defense, but their offense has struggled. Georgia Tech beat Clemson twice, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. All of those teams have better records than any team LSU has beaten. I know that LSU is an SEC team, but I don't think the SEC was as good this year.

As for the BCS, I congratulate them on choosing a worthy Iowa team. PSU does travel well, but Iowa is not shabby either.

LSU's speed will be the killer in this game. They have so much speed on offense that if they don't turn the ball over, I'm not seeing how PSU wins. Also, Wildcat, LSU was better than Georgia Tech by about 30 points last season and really nothing has changed a lot about either team since that game.

Penn State is not that slow deliverence.

Also, you can't base any argument off of what happened last year even if the teams didn't change personnel that much. Just look at Florida last compared to Florida this year. Oklahoma last year compared to Oklahoma this year. I would say that GT would beat LSU this season by 2 TD's.

Oklahoma lost their Heisman winning quarterback and the best tight end in the country. Not to mention about 8 other players to injury, so that won't work. I never said PSU is slow. LSU is just faster. There's not a player faster than Trindon Holliday on PSU's roster. Jordan Jefferson is mobile, but his arm is lacking at this point to be considered a serious threat. If Shepard sees the field, that's just another dynamic to LSU's offense that PSU has to worry about. I'm not saying PSU can't beat LSU. I am just saying I'll be pretty surprised if they do.

Thank goodness the football Gods didn't award this mediocre PSU team with an at-large BCS bowl game.

They will have their hands full with LSU.
