When was the nit wits last appearance? Isn't this thread about Pitt's record the last 13 games vs. Top Five Teams. Not a football thread or final four appearances or national title appearances thread.

If anybody on here remotely thinks psu basketball is on the same level as Pitt or thinks that they have had the same success as Pitt over the years is severely hallucinating or suffering major brain damage. I know ham and a few others are just die hard nitters and will do anything to make psu basketball look good regardless of the facts. Come on people, psu and Pitt basketball in the same sentence??!! :shock:

Exactly, there is no comparison of Penn State basketball to Pitt Basketball. Just like there is no comparison of Pitt Football to Penn State Football. The only difference is Penn State fans can admit it. Pitt fans cannot.

I never said anything about NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS. I asked about RECENT trips by PSU to the NCAA Tournament??? Where did the Championship stuff come from???

And is anyone saying that Kirk put me in my place because of his ridiculous theory ( which came from a fightonstate message board ) that Pitt was only good in football for 6 years out of the last 60???? Do you guys REALLY believe this? Again, you can MANIPULATE statistics to promote anything you want to say. At first, Kirk said that Pitt was only good for 6 years out of 60. Then he said Pitt was only good for a 6 year span out of 60 years. Then he said Pitt was only thought of as National Contenders for 6 years out of 60. So we went from only being good for 6 years out of 60, to only being national contenders for 6 years out of 60. What's next?? Maybe we can keep narrowing down the parameters to even something MORE specific. Yeah, he really put me in my place.

And is Kirk saying that you are only good if you ARE a national contender????? I mean that's what I'm inferring from what he has said. Pitt was only good for 6 years; Pitt was only a National Contender for 6 years. Guess if anyone is 9-3 or worse they are not good, right?
