I add an extra "t".
Sagarin ranks them the #2 team in the country.
I feel so humiliated.

Sagarin has Cincinnati ranked at 8th in his final season ratings. That's 2 places HIGHER than Penn State.

Penn State. A 3rd place team in the BigTen in football this year. Thanks for proving our point.

Look at the Bracketology column on espn.com. The Big East has 8 teams represented and the Big 10 has 5. The Big East also has most of their teams seeded in the top 5 of regions. Lunardi, who compiles the column, has picked the tournament fields correctly within one team for like 5 straight years. If the Big 10 is better, it will show up in seeding and number of teams in the tournament. It is too early to make those calls. However, I do think the Big 10 and Big East are the two best conferences right now. However, I think the Big East has more title contenders than the Big 10. Other than Michigan State, I don't see any contenders, possibly OSU with Turner and Purdue. The Big East has Syracuse, Villanova, WVU, G-town, and Pitt.

This is a great year for Big Ten basketball and all those schools that "won't ever make it as basketball programs".
I do think the BE is better, though.
But... they also have more teams, do they not?
This is my argument from before. How it is fair that the BE gets their "post season award" i.e. BCS bid in the same vein as conferences with FOUR more competitors? Shouldn't the BE gets "automatic bids" to the NCAA tourney over 10 team conferences by default?

The BE has 5 teams that would win the B10...Cuse, UCONN, Pitt, Nova, and Gtown.
End of story.

Didn't UCONN lose to Michigan on Sunday?

There ARE 18 conference games each year in the Big Ten. Guess you can lose one or two and still win the conference.

I'll hold my thoughts on UCONN until after Saturday.
