It's not an issue to Pitt fans. It never was and never will be. Not like the lemmings at PSU who circle their calendars a year in advance for their game.

So are the people at Alabama lemmings, too? They had 91,000 people show up to their spring game yesterday.

Tuscaloosa is known for two things: The University of Alabama, and the Bryce State Hospital for the Insane. Like the people in State College, these people are DESPERATE for something to do, ANYTHING to do, especially after basketball season is over. Of course, Alabama DID win the National Championship, so alot of their fans are psyched about the new season ahead. So YES they are lemmings just like the Nit fans. When you live for a spring football game and some ice cream at the Creamery, you're in big trouble. BIG trouble.

Again, read the list of those involved in drinking and driving. Seriously, how can the American Automobile Association sponsor the Penn State Spring Game? Unbelieveable!! And that doesn't even include the Joe Paterno road rage incident. WOW!!

Wait you guys think Pitt only cares about what Penn State is doing, and yet you guys post this. Hmmmmmm little jealousy for the best football team in the state, perhaps?

One of the main reasons why ppl attend the BW Game so earnestly is bc a lot of those ppl are ppl that cant get regular season tickets. I'd say that's a sign of a strong program.

Some are estimating over 80k this weekend, but I dont think it will be anywhere near that. I'm gonna say 50.

Its also spring time, and going to a game in the spring is a heck of a lot nicer than going to one in the snow in November. If I didnt have to go to a wedding in Houston, I'd definitely be in PA this weekend for the game.
