the Gdula brothers did not do anything against Meyersdale. we were up 4-0 and let errors beat us at their field

Colin catches and plays 1B. Justin plays 3rd, P, and occasionally SS. You tell me WHERE they would play in the City league, for any of the teams. You either have to want to ride the pine in the city, be a stud, or politically connected to get on a City roster. Better to stay with the homeboys, have some fun, and get ready for football season.

Today's Mirror said Legion playoffs open next MONDAY, the 5th. Pairings or seeds weren't mentioned, but probably due to makeups, or whatever. The Trib didn't even mention that fact. They are really good at that! Good luck to all teams in the playoffs. It may have been an "off" year for some of the teams, but you made do with what you had, and it was fun watching you, all of you.

Looks like:

#8 Westmont vs. #1 Claysburg
#5 St. Michael vs. #4 Bedford

#7 Patton vs. #2 Somerset
#6 Portage vs. #3 Ebensburg

I'd say Portage is the only lower seed that has a chance at an upset, especially if Maul pitches a game for them. Claysburg won a lot of one-run games this year. Rounds 2 and 3 could be really good.
