It's a bad move for the big east. Didn't nova win the D-2 or FCS title last year? So now they want to bring them up. What happens if they become a FBS team and win the conference, even if they are a good team? Doesn't that just make the BE look worse than it already is?

And what if they beat Iowa in the Orange Bowl? Does that make the Big Twelve look bad?
I don't think if UConn wins the league this year it makes the Conference look bad?

Anyone remember this football score from September 3, 2009? Villanova 27, Temple 24. How can you Penn State fans make fun of Villanova when they BEAT Temple last year. After all, Temple is a staple on the PSU out of conference schedule. Maybe the Nits should think about playing the Wildcats INSTEAD of the Owls. Of course, since Penn State won't play Villanova in basketball, they probably wouldn't want to play them in football either.

You're right Moldo. Maybe the big East should grab both Temple and Villanova. It'd be really fun watching Wannstadt's mustache frown as he loses to both of those teams for the conference crown

When Penn State STOPS scheduling Temple every year, then YOU can criticize Villanova. Otherwise, your argument doesn't hold water. Next?

My money is on Villanova joining the Big East and winning the conference crown before Pitt does. Temple joins the following year and Bill Cosby Qb's his way to a title.

Why don't you answer a reply seriously? Why the joking? You brought up Villanova. Defend Temple's loss to them last year and why PSU schedules teams that lose to I-aa teams at home. Again, with the Temple loss to Villanova last year, and the game with Eastern Illinois, PSU basically played TWO I-aa teams last year.

What is there to defend? We are talking about apples and oranges. We are talking about Villanova joining the Big East not Out of Conference schedules. I think it's a great addition to the conference and they would be on equal fitting with all members. I think they fit right in with the Big East Model. So since they beat temple are we assuming you should not be offended about Pitt joining the Mac conference since you seem to make a habit of losing to mac teams?
You make absolutely no sense in your arguments. Why would I have to defend why Temple lost to Villanova. I don't care about either team. They are both junk and would be great additions to the big east. Do you want to defend all of Pitt's out of conference foes losses last year? That would be like you having to defend Notre Dames loss to Navy. What in the world sense does that make? Do you even think before you type?
