The AP poll doesn't mean anything. It is in no way shape or form a part of the BCS formula. Which is the be-all and end-all in college football. Enjoy.

I've said over at the last 2 years that the AP Poll literally means nothing toward the college football landscape. The only two that matter are the Harris Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll because they're 2/3rds of the BCS formula. The AP has no bearing on anything, besides what the writers think.

Pre-Season Polls mean nothing. AP, USA Today, or Harris, right?

Ham is right. The AP Poll is absolutely meaningless. It plays zero factor into who plays for the National Championship.
