Here is a question for everyone. When is the last time Windber was shut out in the WestPac? (Include Ridge too)

Only for a half. Rockwood was up 20 - 18 at the half. Portage opened up the second half with a kick return for a touchdown, 3 and out by the Rockets, and then another quick score by Portage to take control. Final was 43 - 28 Portage.bbsocceralumni wrote:No way rockwood wins buck. CV just has horrible play calling. The only thing they ran was a double reverse, screen, and qb keeper. I can't blame the players after watching them.
not surprised at all... for some reason the schools that dont play on saturday have a hard time adjusting to it. wasnt just ct. rockwood leading at half over portage is the same. dont know why but friday night teams always have trouble getting started or even finishing strong on saturday games.Prince Sidewinder wrote:Went to see Township and Blacklick Valley and thought it would be a blowout. Blacklick hng tough, the score was 7-6 in the fourth. CT had a third and 12 and converted and it seemed all down hill from that point on. BV must of had a bad game vs Windber because they were tough today.

you know bb the one thing i noticed is that no matter what anyone posts on here you have to take the opposite side on the issue. i stated the obvious fact that teams have trouble adjusting to saturday games. do you comprehend your statement that the next level they will be playing on saturdays will only apply to maybe 3 or 4 kids on that entire team. i am sure if you would like to argue my statement more you can go research the last 10 years of saturday football and see if my statement is true.bbsocceralumni wrote:If you can't get your kids ready to play on a Saturday game that is a coaching problem. They should be ready any time or anywhere. The next level of football is played on Sat's so kids that are gonna play at the next level better get use to it.
