If you would have told me we would have only lost by eight after turning the ball over seven times, I would have laughed.

Your defense is back to elite form, Steelers fans. But even though you played with your back-up quarterbacks, holding you guys to 12 points off the turnovers is insane. Our defense is a very good one too.

Congrats on the win...hope we can play again in the playoffs.

The Steelers looked really good from what I saw today. I was surprised. I have no idea what Fisher was thinking by benching Vince Young. It's week two and the guy has won 70% of the games that he's started in the NFL? Wise move. It seemed like his ego got in the way of his brain.

I hated the benching too, deliverance. It didn't make sense whatsoever. Yeah, Vince was playing bad - credit LeBeau's defensive scheme, great job - but he is still your starting quarterback and is a good end of game guy. The Polamalu pick was a just a case of holding onto the ball too long and locking onto one receiver, while the pick to Woodley was a great blitz disguise by him. And you don't let CJ block an All-Pro like James Harrison off the edge (the fumble play).

People are forgetting that he was throwing it well to start the game; 5/5 before the first pick. The play-calling was horrid and didn't let Vince take any more shots downfield like he was doing early first quarter. Not saying he played well, cause he didn't, but he didn't play as bad as the stats show. Besides, Collins came in and threw a pick and fumbled it away on his first two drives.

I just don't understand throwing your starting quarterback under the bus the way Fisher did today. VY struggled today. That doesn't mean he's not good enough to lead his team to a lot of victories. I really think that the Titans are one of the best teams in the NFL.

Was Dave Wannstadt calling the Steelers plays in the second half? At some point they might need to play a little offense. You can't expect an older D to carry the team for 16 games.

With a real qb I don't think it will be close 2nd time around..... that defense is more than likely the best in entire league w/ #'s 43 & 91 back!

That Steelers D is the best in the league in my mind. But I think it'd be much closer the second time around with Ben or not at QB. Our defensive line was going to get pressure no matter what, not to mention we were without two starters on that side of the ball. The offensive playcalling got really vanilla after the pick by Troy, which would hopefully be changed if we matched up again. Not to mention, VY would be facing a defense he saw before; usually he produces better results when he faces a defense a second time than the first.

Not discrediting your defense at all, but we're a much better team that the one that showed up on Sunday. The KR return (great call BTW), Polamalu's interception and CJ's long run being called back really took a lot out of us and made us a completely different team.

Tennessee is not that great of a Team. Any team relying on Vince Young is going to be disappointed. I haven't looked at their schedule, but I'll be surprised if they finish over .500
