That matchup needs to happen. People were screaming for the past two years to have McCort and Forest Hills to play in week 10 to crown a champ. And Johnstown is expected to be like McCort and have a 9-0 season and Forest Hills will be just as good as always.

This is very confusing. It started out that D6 and D9 would be combined to form a AAA subregion with top four teams making the playoffs. I believe this is the way it should be with only three teams in D6 and four in D9.
I recently found out that each district wanted to crown their own district champion. That would be ok if only the top two teams made each district championship respectively then each champion played each other in the first round of states.
However, if you check district 6's website is says all three AAA teams will make the playoffs. I'm not sure how this can be done because there are only so many weeks. Initially with the subregion (4 teams making out of both districts) it would take two weeks to crown a champion and that winner plays district 4 champion. If all three teams make it in district 6 AAA it would take 2 weeks to crown a champion and an additional week to play d9's champion. There is not an extra week available in the schedule unless d6 AAA decides to only play 9 regular season games. Im not sure how all three teams can make it without cutting out the final week. If that were to happen I'm sure many people would be a tad disappointed of no FH-JHS matchup.
I think you are confused. Think of it this way. D6AA has 3 weeks of district playoffs, with 8 teams. D6AAA with three teams would only need two weeks to crown a district champ, and then go play that subregion game before moving on to states during that third week. The D6AAA game is usually a week earlier then the D6A and AA championship games.

But are they sending them against District 4 this year? Didn't Hollidaysburg go play the City League champ 2-3 years ago?

I dont think I'm confused. The last game of the regular season which is now scheduled for JHS-FH is Nov. 5th. The first round of playoffs in AAA is scheduled for the 12th-13th. D6/D9 winner plays Nov 19th or 20th. The winner of that plays district 4 Nov 26 or 27. (By the way defending AAA champion Selinsgrove is 0-3 this year.)
Please tell me what weekend they can play then? If you add a first round game in d6 AAA everything would be pushed back a week and it wouldnt work.

Bedford (1-2) at Bishop McCort (1-2)
Crimson Crushers 35 Bisons 6- Bedford just ain't what she used to be ain't what she used to be....
Central Cambria (2-1) at Cambria Heights (0-3)
Red Devils 35 Highlanders 21
Bishop Guilfoyle (2-1) at Forest Hills (3-0)
Rangers 50 Marauders 6-BG has absolutley no chance in this game. Forest Hills just has too much. They out number and will overpower the Mauraders!
Somerset (0-3) at Westmont (0-3)
Golden Eagles 21 Hilltoppers 20-Both teams are not very good. Saw some film on Westmont. Their coach needs to adjust defense as not to get out-flanked on certain formations...
The Hilltoppers keep it close and might pull it off with the afternoon advantage.
Bishop Carroll (2-1) at Penn Cambria (3-0)
Panthers 20 Huskies 21-I don't like picking against my man Sponsky, especially in close games....
GAME OF THE WEEK
Johnstown (3-0) at Richland (1-2)
Johnstown 28 at Richland 35- This should be an excellent game. Johnstown has dominated, but has had no worthy opponents yet. Richland, lost a to BC, a game they should have won, didn't show up against FH, and beat a not very good Bedford team. If Brandon Baily can resist the temptation to pass on a regular basis and stick to the run, only throwing in a pass here and there to keep the defense honest, I like Richland's chances. If Johnstown can turn this thing into a pure out shootout, they will have the upper hand. Richland's homefield advantage will be key.

Really? Did you attend the game, BC should've won by more than they did, Richland was lucky that it was as close as it was

Richland isn't the same ole team from the past few years, but they are better then Johnstown's 3 opponents so far. We'll see how good the Trojans are.
