FH didn't look very good against Tyrone's week running attack last week. Tyrone dashed them a couple times in the first half, and for some reason didn't come back to it much. FH hasn't really played a team with the running ability of Sharon, so it'll be interesting to see. The last time FH played a backfield of near this quality is BC, who they trampled. Not sure how this plays out, and the weather is always a factor this year. I'm pulling for the Rangers, though. FH comes out throwing to McCombie, and #23 and #33 seal it late. FH 28 Sharon 10. FH enjoys it's first state playoff win since '02 before running into a buzzsaw in S. Fayette

If Ranger Dave is in attendance, then it will be a Forest Hills victory! :D

Manfred wrote:According to MAXPREPS, their QB has thrown I think 9 TD's. They do like to run more. Sizewise they seem to matchup w/ FH pretty evenly. They compete in a 6 team league, and went 5-0. Their 2 losses were opening week to Farrell, and midseason to Oil City. They defeated Wilmington and Hickory twice this year, as they are both in their league. So really, How strong is their competition? I take the Rangers (bias-ed) by a TD.
Not sure about Oil City but the Farrell Steelers are a Top 3 Ranked Single A team in the state. They're "supposed" to give Clairton all they can handle in the West to get to Hershey......

When their leading tackler make a big hit, they call it a "Yuron sample".
Nice.

What defense has FH run this year?
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

KOBE- Ranger Dave is "a game-time decision". No spring chicken anymore!
It ain't over until it's over.
