Why bother playing the games with all that Jtown tradition? Teams will just roll over and quit anyway because of all that history and all of those past championships in the competitive 3-4 team District 6. Just remember, "Tradition Doesn't Graduate."

I don't dislike Jtown at all, I just enjoy hearing all the hype and presenting a counter opinion.

But on a side note, it is truly comical to frequently read how many of you claim you were God's gift to sports, when you were average at best. Meanwhile, what I find to be equally amusing is the intellectual divide. Its probably a good thing that brains aren't rated by class. We'd have a few AAAA and AAA, but just like the schools in this area, most of us would be playing single A.

I can remember hearing how great Jtown's frosh team was 2 years ago. Now the Fab 5 is starting varsity. I actually hope they do well. It's all relative.

The only person that ever talks about Johnstown on a consistant basis is you. What's your hard-on for them? Do you secretly wish you went there? Did someone from JHS beat you up once?

I've been on this board for four years and I have no idea what you are talking about when you say everyone hyped this team. A few posters did. Probably high school kids themselves. Any serious poster didn't. So you make it your lifes mission to get into it with high school kids that said JHS would never lose a game.

I ask you repeatedly serious questions about the comparison of the best D6 schools and Shaler and you never have anything to say about that.

BTW, Johnstown has 3 WPIAL football championships. Three more than Shaler.
Johnstown has 0 WPIAL boys basketball championships. Shaler has 0. (Although JHS has never been in the WPIAL in basketball to my knowledge.)

So instead of taking your usual shots at these area schools why don't you write about how great Shaler is? Another question I will never get an answer to. The way you talk you would think that the school you support wins championships left and right. The reality is they are not relevant.

They may as well join D6 and they would fit in here with all of our sorry schools.
