WPIAL AAA=weakest class in the district.
Let's hear some more about the Fab 5, like how they nearly lost to an 0-4 class A team last week.

Not sure what you're talking about, which pretty much describes every one of your posts. Please show me where I have ever refered to Johnstown's team as the Fab 5. Hell, find me one post in four years where I ever used the word Fab.WPIAL~Titan wrote:WPIAL AAA=weakest class in the district.

As far as I can tell you are the only one that calls them that.
Don't fret though, Shaler did have two playoff wins the past ten years. That should make you happy.
Re: Shaler Basketball...Fact/Fiction
Is Shaler AAAA?
Re: Shaler Basketball...Fact/Fiction
This might not be the time to make fun of Shaler. By the looks of it their basketball team is really good this year.

Possibly first time since HE_LL froze over.
It ain't over until it's over.

Re: Shaler Basketball...Fact/Fiction
Shaler is AAAA. They are off to a 6-0 start, 2-0 in section and play today and tomorrow in District 6 land at Indiana HS Holiday Tourney. They're a solid team and feature an outstanding soph who will be a high major D1 basketball player and a major D1 football recruit who has already been offered by WVU.
Regardless of what sportsfan1000 says, Shaler has won 3 section titles over the past decade (2000,2004, 2005) in the most competitive AAAA section in western PA (New Castle when they played AAAA, last year's 4A western finalist North Allegheny, and always strong Butler and Pittsburgh Central Catholic.) I wonder how Jtown would have done over the years playing in that section against those teams night in and night out, no Bishop Carrolls, Richlands, Bedfords, or Cambria Heightss there. Shaler has also won more than their share over the two best 6AAAA programs Altoona and State College over the past decade. With that said, their success has been limited in the WPIAL and PIAA playoffs. Maybe that will change this season.

Re: Shaler Basketball...Fact/Fiction
The only reason I ever say anything about Shaler is because your total lack of disrespect and arrogance toward not just Johnstown but every other school in this area. I got tired of reading it for a few years so I wondered just how successful Shaler was in both football and boys basketball. It turns out not as much as one would think with the way you talk. 4 wins against winning teams in football in ten years should keep your mouth shut. 2 playoff wins in 9 years in boys basketball should keep your mouth shut. I've learned that it won't. Oh well.WPIAL~Titan wrote:Shaler is AAAA. They are off to a 6-0 start, 2-0 in section and play today and tomorrow in District 6 land at Indiana HS Holiday Tourney. By the way, why would Johnstown play in Shaler's conference? They are AAA and would do just fine in any WPIAL AAA section. (I know the weakest class in the WPIAL you point that out every post.) According to you Shaler should be better than Johnstown so why even compare.
Again, I have nothing against Shaler, just against WPIALtitans lack of respect for anything district 6.
Re: Shaler Basketball...Fact/Fiction
WPIAL would be the **** hole that would walk into a Steelers bar when they are playing the Ravens and cheer for the Ravens just to get attention. Why else does he have nearly 2500 posts on a central PA message board when he has such hate for D5, D6, Penn State, and most of all Paterno?

No the Penn State hating is fine. We live in Western PA IMO.

At least we aren't very close to the **** crack of the state (Philadelphia).
