I know CC could easily take on the extra students. They graduated 80 less in 2010 than they did in 1985 when the senior class was 242.

Class sizes were allowed to be bigger in 1985. Kindergarten was 1/2 day. There was no PreK for three and four year olds.

Nice "politically correct" solution announced by the Richland school board last nite. Better solution wouyld have been to announce a dissolution of the school district and a merger with Forest Hills. At least then there would have been some competition. Now expect more of the same browbeating of coaching staff, soccer and band kids on football team, etc. But then everybody will still get a trophy, won't they?

They are probably delaying the merger until Mr. Bailey Sr. retires and Mr. Bailey Jr can step into his shoes at the new merged high school. Ya, that's it, right?
