Any word on the team title? I left before they announced it. I bet Forest Hills was up there, wouldn't be surprised if they won it...

I believe the final in the Risaliti match was 11-3.

Blankenship won 160.

Where is the depth this year? This is the weakest year I've ever seen for D6. Some of the kids that are going on would have never sniffed regionals in the past.

Can someone please update the brackets, or at least post all the champs/ guys moving to regionals before I read it in the morning paper? Thank you from all who couldn't attend.

Team race was close from what I heard,,,,FH went 3-0 in the finals to get real close but just short of Juniata ended up second, Tyrone was in 7th last I heard , not bad considering they only entered 7 kids, 4 placed and 3 to regionals....sad.

That's the best Forest Hills has looked all year. That includes all 11 wrestlers at Districts. Everyone wrestled well and we had a handful of kids almost get out. As a matter of fact, under last year's setup, Billy Wolfhope would've qualified for Regionals. Chris Gallaher's performance is a testament to the type of kid he is. Chris and his brother Shane have always wrestled with a tremendous amount of heart and were always willing to go the extra mile and/or sacrafice for the good of the team. As a coach, you hope for 14 Chris Gallahers to represent your squad. Chris deserves all the accolades he collects and his desire to succeed is top notch. For anybody who had a problem with the seeding of Gallaher and Jeff Meier, I would like to call your attention to the Final Brackets. Let's put those comments to bed now. Congratulations to R.J. Brydon, Cody Law, Chris Gallaher, Devin Hornbake, and Jeff Meier. Good Luck to all the locals at Regionals. Forest Hills finished in second place (only 6 points behind Champion Juniata). My kids will enjoy those new shoes---HAHA.

Congrats to LINK! Wow.. total domination in a district final! I also heard in the semi round that a coach sat his kid against link! LINK is a beast at 112! He got the Outstanding wrestler of the tourny, can't wait to see him at states....
