Straisser? Is he a legit college prospect? Size sounds good but I have never seen him in person.

On pure athletic ability, absolutely Straiser can play D1. Maybe not the highest level, but he's what you would look for in the MAC. He's every bit as athletic as the Andrews kid from Johnstown. What hurts Straiser is that he may not get as much recognition playing A ball in D5.

He's fast, seen him rob plenty of balls as a Center Fielder.
He can jump, watched him 2 hand throw down a dunk on a fast break, maybe a step inside the foul line and just took off.
Can he play Football? Nobody has been able to stop him yet, only a junior and puts up big numbers.

I'd give him a shot.

Well you can have all the athletic ability you want, but u should also have the brains as well. But from what I hear some of the talent at jhs do not have the grades now, so how the heck are they going to make it in college?

i would have to agree on Straisser, but idk if he could play d1 cause ive seen him play and i think he is a little soft. Not bashing the kid, cause he is one of the best in the area.. dont get me wrong, but i just havent seen the kind of toughness to go against d1 linebackers or safties pounding him.

he is a junior, people are judging him as he is going to college this year.. he has a full year to bulk up, i promise you he will not be at n.s. next year. with his brother and half the starters gone they will shop him to a bigger school.

Shop, and who is they? his parents? Are you suggesting he would transfer to another school for athletic reasons? Moldo, manfred take it from there.
