Eaglealum...that is a bit suprising, however I did know there was some bad blood between Tyrone and Huntingdon. I've been on Huntingdon's message board a few times reading and boy they sure don't like you guys either.

For Bedford:
Back in the day when both teams were decent it was Everett. That honor now goes to Chestnut Ridge. In all sports, but mostly football and wrestling. Hate losing to them at anything.
But in football overall the last 30 years or so I and probably others get the most satisfaction out of beating Forest Hills. Not out of dislike but respect. When those two teams met, many times the conference championship and an undefeated season were on the line. I'm disappointed we aren't in the same section anymore. And Bedford has been down for a few years but they are starting to get back to their old ways it looks like.

pre-LHAC wouldn't have Portage been the answer for FH? Just wondering? I rember my soph year when they tied week one and neither team lost or tied again. I can seen how they've been so good for so long that a d-6 AA school like Tyrone might be as much of a rival as any geographical rival

For Central, Id say that Tyrone would be our big game of the year, especially the past 2 years. After them, I think Huntingdon would be the next biggest game of the year. Its kind of tough for us to have too many rivalries though because of we switched conferences not too long ago. It used to be PC and CC, but we dont play them anymore.

Portage was ALWAYS the rivalry game for FH. And I might be wrong, but it was always the season opener. Then, due to conference play when FH joined the LHAC, the teams could no longer play each other. BUT they DID scrimmage each other for many years in August. Before the formation of FH, Adams-Summerhill and Triangle had a little heated rivalry for 3 years. Triangle won the first 2 games, but Adams got some revenge in the last game between the two when Sam Pinkas ran wild in that final game before the jointure. And from somewhere up above, Smilin' Milan Buchan is looking down and smiling as he remembers his last game as coach of the Adams-Summerhill Hornets.

Moldy, It took your mighty Adams Blue Hornets 3 years to score their first points against the Triangle Area Rockets. Oh, and my friend Sam Pinkas was an end on that Adams team getting alot of receiving yards, not rushing yards. Rivalry then, but alot of memories later!

Thank you, Myrtle. Was just a kid then. About 1965 wasn't it? That was 46 years ago. Surprized I remembered as much as I did.

For FH I would say in the more recent years it would be BM and BC. They are really only the teams that have given us trouble on a regular basis.

Since 2003 I believe FH/JHS is 3 wins apiece. However, I do understand picking the private schools.
