My pick to win the D6-AA at the start of the season was Richland, and I'm going to stick with it. I'm expecting a very good game though.

I honestly felt the same way, most of the year, but I've seen Tyrone play all year, and they aren't the same playoff team Tyrone has sent out the last few years, they are more physical and have hit more over the last few weeks than the last couple years combined, Now I don't think they can shut Richlands' ground game down altogether, but they will stand up to it way better than they did Dudekovich (not comparing the backs at all) and if the Rams gotta throw..... lets just say the winner of the turnover battle wins the game and Tyrone isn't far from a +20 on the season, I like their chances....wonin the trenches stole the score I've been going by, so I'll say 33-21 Golden Eagles. BTW- Mr Rizzo is gonna win plenty of medals in Feb/March and I'll be there cheering for him....just not in November.

Having not seen Tyrone and having seen Richland I can only assume that like the past 6 years the LHAC team will be a tough out for Tyrone. Eagle mentioned that Tyrone has been playing more physically which should help coming into this game against Rizzo (this kid is on a diff. level offensively than the other players I have seen). Tyrone, however, has the benefit of being in this game the past two years and I can say from experience that it helps calm the nerves going into Mansion Park. Lastly it's always tough to call a game based on common opponents so I'll stay clear on that.

Tyrone defensively struggled with Shippey from Bedford running the ball. If he plays in that game in the second half the game is much closer. Rizzo is the same kind of physical runner as Shippey so I think that is going to give Tyrone some problems.

I'm guessing the Franco boy was having an off night offensively against Bedford, especially in the first half because he looked bad. If he is going to play in college I assume he plays much better than that most of the time.

With that said, I believe Tyrone's playoff experience will be a big asset for them. Richland starts some young players at key positions and I would give the edge to Tyrone having been there before in the title game.

He was having an off day against Bedford, yet the entire team actually was. I agree that they did have trouble stopping Shippey but if you watched them last week against PC it was like night and day. Franco was hitting every reciever and Tyrone's defense dominated a good PC offense.
