Coach Franco went 40-47 at Altoona. Folks were grumbling because he won one district title in 8 years. Not a big AAAA field to conquer in District 6. I love John Franco and sing his praises. I lived in Altoona during his Mt. Lion coaching era, and I grumbled. I even said things on the radio about a coaching change. Franco has put together a program at Tyrone and deserves mad love. Ed Dalton came in and had a great run at Altoona.
