I was referring to the majority of them to be honest, those two your reference included. Another one was at 106, a tough kid no doubt but he did not take one shot on his feet, just countered. Obviously he got the W so it was a smart move. It just seemed like a few of them just sort of waited for mistakes to be make by their opponents. That was my perception - of course - Ive admitted I am a Hilltop fan so maybe I am biased...lol.

and let me clear, that did not make or break the match. Bedford was clearly the better team..no disupting that.

and too my point, with the match clearly in hand, why not let your 182lber have a competitive match instead of forfeiting to Burnheimer. As far as team score, it was over by that point. Those are the types of matches that help you during the season, do better in the POST season.

I agree wrestle the tough competition when you can get it over taking forfeits or wrestling a weaker guy that only helps you in your record. That is why kids and coaches choose the easy way out for rankings and seedings in there district. I agree wrestle all the better kids and go into districts with experience and confidence. Records don't mean nothing at districts, if you wrestle easy teams and grapplers. I see it happen with ex. shade who has great records and high seeds and a kid from north star or bedford is 500 and pins the shade kid easily because he wrestled better competition.

106- I believe one of his takedowns was on an offensive shot.

132- needs to hit the weight room. Was not strong enough to move off of the bottom in my opinion. But, if your the Westmont Wrestler instead of staying behind the guy get out to the side and look to turn him.

145- Was the kids first varsity match from Bedford. I didn't think Helsel did all that much in that match either.

182- Yingling is a little banged up and they are trying to get him healthy.

I heard lots of yelling for stalling from Westmont fans. But in General when their kids were behind they didn't do much either. Except Bedford's kids worked for pins and bonus points in those matchs. Westmonts kids that were superior for the most part looked as though they just expected the bedford kids to roll over. They stayed hip to hip and were not aggressive enough in going for pins and back points.

I agree let's win 1 state title don't know why we would talk about 3 for Easter.

as far as 182 - I wish that there was a double forfeit there, with Westmont moving Burnheimer moving up to wrestle Brett. Burnheimer dominated Brett last year, but it was iirc Brett's first career dual meet. That certainly would have been more entertaining then what we had last night.
