very impressed with ridge, they have a lot of size and are young, problem was they are a almost pure inside game with all their size. they did bring in young hengst who was hitting 3's but didnt play much. i cannot stand those bedford county refs, as with the tm game ct had 10 fouls to ridges 2. second half was better, they let them play. with an outside game ridge would be very very hard to beat.

SF girls were up 14 at start of 4th and Berlin made a 9-0 run so start the 4th to get it down to 5 but could never get any closer. That says alot about their team and coaching staff to make a run instead of just packing it in and saying we tried. Both teams played well and as brigade said Berlin had to foul and SF made their free throws. Congrats to Berlin on a great season and wish them luck in the state tournament. They will represent District V very well. Also congrats to SF on the repeat and wish them luck as well in the state tournament. As for the Boys AA game between Ridge/CT, I left just before half but was very impressed with CT with this being my first time seeing them play this year. A couple of their kids took some deep 3's and drained them with confidence. Congrats to them and Coach Lesko and good luck to them and Chestnut Ridge as well in the state tournament.

Ridge and CT was a great highschool ball game.My hats off to CT especially Speigle and Boyer. They played well in all respects of the game not just scoring. These two were the difference maker in the game for CT, IMO. That was the first chance I had to see them and I wasn't disappointed. Ridge played pretty well too, lack of an outside shooting game really hurt them. The refs called a good game in this one.Did I agree on all the calls? ,NO but they did a good job. I think this game would have been alot more interesting had Wiley played for ridge, but hey congrats to township and good luck to both in the upcoming state playoffs!

It's not the refs job to keep the fouls even. When you play agressive defense you get fouls called. I thought the game was well officiated. The crew that did the game is the best crew in the district (IMO).

i am sure you think they are the best coming from bedford county, ct does play aggressive offensive and defensively, and when speigle drives to the basket and get leveled with no call and pick does the same gets the and one you know its coming, its funny you look back at the last 5 games and ridge has 18 fouls, 20 fouls, 13 fouls, 18 fouls, and 14 then against ct 6? aggressive as ct is and 2 in the first half. i dont dispute most of the ct fouls but there were many non calls as the shade fans sitting by us said before the game started when 4 of the players from ridge were all talking and laughing with them, its gonna be a long night for you guys i said they were calling both ways the second half but first half was ridiculous with what they got away with.

i think they are gonna be a team that will return to finals next year {ridge} and possibly win it, the younger hengst should get much more time and was on with his 3's. an outside game will make them pretty much unbeatable. quaker valley was at the game last night and they are pretty much a mirror image of ridge size wise and play a good inside game from what i read, ridge should be able to match up with them quite well.

thebrigade- anytime you play ridge and have that ref crew you better be prepaired for a lopsided foul fest. I have seen it to many times. There is also a crew from up the mtn. that comes down here that seems to favor ridge alot too.
Ridge will be good next year- but they lose 2 seniors i think,(Young, hengst)
Nbc loses 1 senior that was not very effective
Tussey loses No starters
And SF will be AA next season
And CT should be good
SO, in my calculation its anybodies final next season to be Had.

If I am not mistaking I think CT is moving back down to A next year? Anyone know if this is true?
