JD may have something. "No one from SIDMAN can read". Fortunately for the rest of the Ranger Nation, Sidman is not the only population component of Forest Hills Public High School. :-* :-* :-*

Sure can abpk....

1. How will the 2012 Lions do overall? Projected record, Big Ten finish, Bowl game expected.
I say Penn State hovers around 7-5, 8-4. They have some players, but they have no QB. And while O'Brien is a breathe of much needed fresh air, he does not have a magic wand.

2. How does the program fare under O'Brien down the line?
Penn State will be a step below Ohio State and Michigan, yet they will have their runs at winning the Big Ten here and there. I could see them being a mirror of Wisconsin. Always consistent, but not quite OSU. They will find themselves in a lot of Outback and Capital One Bowls, with an occasional Rose Bowl.

3. What are the strengths and weaknesses going into 2012?
Strengths-RB,LB.
Weaknesses-OL,DL,DB
Major weakness-QB.

4. Whats the feeling with going against Urban Meyer and Brady Hoke down the road? Recruiting wars, and on the field.
My belief is that Urban Meyer will have his way as long as he is the OSU coach. Hoke is recruiting unbelievably well and had a magical first year.
I do feel these two programs will be the class of the league for the next decade. PSU,Wisconsin, and MSU will be the next step of Big Ten Football.

5. Is Bill O'Brien the guy? So hard to say, But is he Penn State's coach in 5 years?
Dumb question on my part, like I said its hard to say. But he's not going to have a long leash. He needs to perform well to keep his job. PSU hasn't been in a situation in such a long time.

6. How good can the recruiting class get?
It still has the ability to steal Dorian Johnson from Pitt, and maybe Anzalone who left OSU after some creepy guy is trying to prey on OSU athletes. (Did anyone catch up on that story? weird, weird, weird) So it can be top 20,top 15.

Hey, maybe that's why FH kids don't get "millions and millions" of dollars in college scholarship offers every year like the McCort kids do.

Back to the State of the Union. It's official. According to BlueWhiteIllustrated, O'Brien has given the starting QB job to McGloin. Jones has been given the back-up job. McGloin will be given most of the reps in fall camp. Bolden has fallen to third on the depth chart at QB. O'brien does NOT want a QB battle in fall camp.
