And close to 4 months after the NCAA lowered the boom on the Nits.

...Anyone see transcripts from BO'B's last news conference. parts were in Wednesday's tribune. Here are a few goodies:
...When asked about McGloin's badmouthing of the refs after the Nebraska game, and how the refs are out to get the Nits this year, BO'B said, "At the end of the day, it's a free country and matt says what he wants". OH REALLY!!! What kind of coach let's his QB spout off about the officiating after a game, and then let's it slide? Of course, McGloin was not made available to the media this week. Someone (like BO'B) must have had a change of heart about players going off half-cocked during interviews.
..."Playing football has been a respite for players under near constant scrutiny for things that had nothing to do with them. What a crock of $hit. Who's being scrutinized and for what??? Sure the program was hit with sanctions, but what are the players being scrutinized for??? Another excuse for not playing up to par?
...BO'B said, "Penn State has a football team which plays with extremely good effort, plays hard. Penn State has a senior class that to me will go 'DOWN IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL' as one of the better senior classes of any college football team". Another crock!!!! There's only ONE half decent player on offense. ONE!!!! And a few sprinkled in on defense. Was BO'B ever hit on the head???? He's like Obama. He'll say anything to make him and his team look good.
...And when asked about PSU being outscored bigtime in the second half of their 4 losses, BO'B responded, "At the end of the day, sometimes those adjustments work and sometimes they don't. I wouldn't make too much out of the second half thing". UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! Falling apart after halftime in their 4 losses and you shouldn't make a big deal about it!!!! Just like Obama not making a big deal about the economy. So what, right? Maybe BO'B is adopting Paterno's philosophy. Hey, at least nobody got hurt.

Come to think of it, I think every college football fan in America should be jealous of Penn State.

Those poor teams that everyone else follows...They didn't have a serial child molester as the #2 in command for 40 years, and an icon who "did the humane thing" by just letting it slide twice that we know of, and 3 Paterno underlings who covered the whole thing up in a conscious, calculated way.

Yes indeed, the entire universe is jealous of Penn State's football program.

After all, in hindsight, they wish they had done more.

How long before BOB jumps off?

The saying is, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Believe me. NO ONE is imitating Penn State. No one.
