Again depends on your formula for determining over .700. JV Beat Mt Union when they were 8 -3 (.727) Since have lost 3 in row (3 starters out with injuries).

Also same could be said of Wbrg beating Penns Valley as they have been over .700 pretty much all season until last week.
I think playing AA and larger schools needs weighed in as well. Not too many teams are going to have many wins over a .700 team because there are not going to be that many as the season progresses.

The team only gets points if the team is .700 after games up to and including February 7th.

The above statement is correct. It is not your opponent's record when you play them. It is their record when points need to be turned in that matters.

Otherwise, everyone who beat a 1-0 team would get bonus points...

Regardless of how you look at it, this is BCs bracket to lose. BG could put up a decent fight. Blacklick could be a scary matchup on any night.

Crusher92 - Your right Carroll is playing some solid basketball. A loss in the next few games could be something that might help them. They play great defense and have to be the odds on favorite. Guilfoyle also has a solid team but I do not think they have the fire power Carroll has. Blacklick Valley has a real nice team that on any given night can beat any team in the playoffs. Homer Center is a team that plays a very aggressive style of defense but foul a lot. The Wildcats could be a sleeper in the playoffs.

Prince, I don't see bv doing anything against these other teams that you mentioned because the last couple games vs ct and shade they were beat pretty good. They haven't been playing well lately even struggled with a bad windber team. Cesarz was shut down by nash walker to two points at shade! Bv has two players in sheesley and cesarz and you can stop two players easier than a team with 5 players that are good. We shall see if bv is ready to make a run vs shanskville at home. The vikings are over rated and only have 3 kids that score in slade, wilt, and platt. But they are well coached and play within the system with patience to wait for a layup with slade or one of the two guards I mentioned. I would put sheesley on wilt with heavy pressure and cesarz on slade with man help on both and put the 3rd best defender on platt and bv might have a chance to knock off the vikings. Should be a good game. Tough to win at bv and the vikings are not a great team that can't be beat in d5. D5 is over rated this year also.

I hope JuanUribe reads this update :)
Glendale thumped Wbrg last nite. So your response about Glendale not beating a team above .500, well you know what I want to say here, but I wont; just imagine for yourself what I am thinking :).
Glendale is a dangerous team to play on any given night, and I am not a fan of Glendale by any stretch of any imagination. They are big and athletic, they simply lack a true PG and a team leader. Soph center O'Donnell had 25 points and 20 rebs and the other soph Barnhart who is the closest to a PG they have, finished with 14. They are certainly a capable team and they'll be in the mix over the next few seasons also.
Also last nite in the ICC, SF over TM and Everett over FM, two teams that are middle of the pack in the ICC south over two of the teams at the top of the ICC South.
This is the most parity I have seen in the ICC in many seasons. Look for Bellwood in the north to struggle more down the stretch without the older Davis. Also look for several ICC teams that are not above or around the .500 mark that are going to get some big wins as the season winds down towards playoffs.

I foresee 6-A this way:

1. Carroll
2. Guilfoyle
3. Homer Center
4. ??

I do not see Blacklick Valley making the semifinal round. It obviously depends on the pairings/seedings but I think someone from the ICC or possibly Ferndale will crash the semifinal party. Saltsburg could get hot and make a run but they are probably looking at a 7-10 seed which means they'll see BC or BG in the Quarters and it'll be good night for them.

D6FF- I think you are right on with your ICC views. Great parity, some great games left, and definitely some upsets still out there. Will be a fun last 2 1/2 weeks in that conference.

d6footballfan let me make this very clear to you......Glendale 2012-13 team stinks. Here is their body a work before you get all caught up in one win over williamsburg who stinks too. Glendale's wins come against teams with a combined record of 19-70. I repeat 19-70. I understand they cannot control who they play and don't blame them one bit for getting United on the schedule twice to boost that record over .500, however they are exactly what this shows. One notch above this group of awful core teams they have beat on. If they had a chance or there were parity to a degree they would not lose to Juniata, Northern Cam, and Bellwood by 25 or more, and then to Mt Union by 20 and West Branch by 10 or more twice. The scouting report on Glendale is simple....poor disicipline, put the heat on them and they fold, balls starting being thrown all over the gym. Guaranteed fact......BC, BG, or even Homer beats this team by 26-32 minimum. The body of work shows that and numbers don't lie.
