D6 football - the WestPAC has 2 sections BV had to play Shade, Shanksville, Berlin and Rockwood. Also with games against Northern Cambria and Hyndman they have been in a few tough themselves. Wish I could make that game.

JV over BV 62 -47. Ceasarz had 27. JV had 4 in double figures. Watched this game beginning to end. Ceasarz is quite a player, but no one else could handle the JV press.

SouthSide - BV didn't fare well when they went south and technically the south is not their conference. The North is, and they had 3 teams with a winning record in the north. The majority of BV's wins were at the expense of north teams that had losing records.

BTW Ceasarz was the real deal last nite. He shot the 3 much more than I saw him shoot the other times I saw him play, but it didn't matter, he made them when given an open look, of which he didn't get many. He will certainly add significantly to a college roster somewhere. Sheesley and the other BV guards didn't handle the JV pressure very well. Shawver, Taylor and Grissinger dominated the boards as I thought they would.

That Wbrg score is a shocker, wow. Never would have thought Wbrg would commit so many turnovers. JV pressed them and they handled it well. So we are both 1 - 1, I guess even :) I'm not at all sad that Wbrg lost, now that I read about Farrell whining and complaining to the media last nite. Wbrg's coach complained that since Wbrg beat JV twice they should have been a higher seed. Sounds like he needs to go have a talk with the Wbrg AD who made their schedule, and stop blaming D6's ranking system which has been in place longer than he has been a coach. Excuses are like butt's everyone has one.

I am intrigued with the semis even more after last nite, especially the HC /BG game. If HC is that good, watch out BG. Ferndale pushed BG, and I think HC will do so even more. BG has a tendency now and then to slip up, and BG really doesn't have a stud goto guy like a Ceasarz or Martinazzi/Lee. JV / BC I think will be closer than people think. Still my logic says BC and BG, but I think the games will be entertaining.

BC is the second best team in D6 regardless of class IMO. State College being number one. BC beat Hollidaysburg and I think they could beat Altoona as well. Even though they lost to BM twice, I think they are overall a stronger team. JV will be in trouble.

Every dog has their day.BC plays H-burg 5x they lose 3. H-burg beat Mccort earlier this year 67-60 and that game was not close until the 4th.This is a H-burg team that is 9 games under .500. Don't get too optomistic about A schools slappin' AAA or AAAA schools around too often. :-?
