I wasn't blaming anyone. Just stating the facts, they didn't play anyone good and if they did Torbet's numbers would be average....Shanksville by 17

I have to disagree, Torbet is having a great season. His point average may have been lower against a tougher schedule, but he isn't just a scorer. He rebounds well. He scored 18 and had 10 rebounds against Bishop Walsh, one of the top teams in the Cumberland area. 15 and 12 against Ridge. 13 and 10 against Berlin, according to MaxPreps.

I'm hoping that this is the better D5"A" Boys Semi-Final and I am making the right choice in heading to Ridge as opposed to Shanksville tonight.

The Hornets have the athletes to compete and I think they can keep it close and even have a chance to win at the end. I'm sure the Hyndman faithful will be out in full force.

Prediction:
Shanksville 51
Hyndman 42

I went over and checked this game out. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Athleticly Hyndman was the better team, but Shanksville is more disciplined, patient, and better coached. When Hyndman made their run to put them ahead early in the 3rd quarter, I thought it was gonna be a barn burner. You could tell that Shanksville wasn't rattled at all. They stuck to their game plan and took control of the game. One thing I noticed was the Platt boy finished with 29 according to the newspaper. The Hyndman coach put in one of his reserves and had him guard Platt. When this kid was guarding Platt he only scored 2 points, but the Hyndman coach took this kid out and put back in one of the starters, which I thought was a huge mistake. Hyndman had no patience on offense, they didn't seem to run any plays, just looked like they freelanced, but kids were standing around not moving or setting screens. I look for a great District 5 A championship friday night. Good luck to both teams.
