I'd say this game is a toss up. Every time they meet they're barn burners. Whatever the case, it's one not to miss.

Some very nice players for both teams, but one of the best players in the area is Ben Pick, the Ridge senior. This kid can score facing or back to basket, spends a lot of time above the rim rebounding, is a great assist man, and usually has four or five steals a game as well as that many recoveries. He's been one of the best all-around players Bedford County, the Sideling Hill League, and D-5 has seen in years.

TM wins in a shoot-out 73-70 (TM is very explosive. The deciding factor to me- Coaching)

NBC wins 68-58 ( NBC is very athletic and has yet to show there full potentail, this might be there break-out game)

Certainly was a breakout game. NBC, as nbcsports noted, is very athletic. They played a nice game against Ridge. Coach Crawford again reinforced my opinion that for years he's been one of the best defensive coaches around. Ridge has some excellent double figure scorers. They didn't have good games because the NBC defense was really good. Good luck to NBC in the title. game. I've been watching this bunch for years and have always liked the way they play so hard.

I think that was the best defense I saw NB play all year. Turning defense into offense is something they are pretty good at too in the open floor. I thought every guy on the floor for the Panthers was playing tough on D and that doesn't always happen. Some guys reach and don't move their feet. Last night they moved their feet and played good inbound defense too.

Crawford is a very good coach and hopefully the guys have all bought in to the defensive aspect of the game that I think won them the game last night. Play hard there and the points will come.

NB has been really rotating 8 guys well too and that should help on the bigger floor. England, Litzenberger, and Barnes all come off the bench and bring different things to the game. England is a spark plug that cam draw a charge and gets on the floor. Litz provides some offense. Barnes plays some great defense. Between him and Zach Pressel they can keep the pressure on a team's best threat from start to finish.

NBC's bench is excellent. Giving the twins a short blow two or three times a game makes them even better. Don't know much about CT, but Northern's bench might very well make a difference. It certainly played a big factor in the semifinals.
