Vincentian beat Clairton, so Shade will face North Catholic, not Lincoln Park.

I guess that is better than playing lincoln park. All those d-7 teams are tough though. Thanks for the info.

D7 is tough, however district 5 A has faired pretty well in recent years against the WPIAL in basketball. I wouldn't discount shades chances too much.

Do you feel they should put into affect a state bracket like football where districts don't seed basketball but are apart of the actual tournament? So when you lose in districts your out? It makes it much more important to win district in a league like D7 instead of mass amount of teams they get in?

To me I'm ok with district 7 taking 4 to state playoffs. I just found out there are over 40 teams for district 7 "A". Seems fair to me
