Thank you. I was worried they wouldn't make a decision until the end of the season. In that case it would be too easy to manipulate the seedings.

I think this years D6 A playoffs will be the most competitive playoffs we have had in awhile. BC with their QB out for the season will have problems. I could see them not making the 8 team field. This could be the year for a team like homer or portage to win the D6 championship.

While I agree that Homer Center, Portage, Penns Manor will make for some very good and competitive playoff matchups, D6A will be won by the winner of the BG/Bellwood playoff game

With four weeks left, I'm guessing these will be the play off teams.

1. Homer Center proj. 9-1 (6-0) - They have been dominating but I think they will lose to Liggy
2. Penns Manor proj. 8-2 (6-0) - Also have been great, but i believe they will lose to Liggy and HC
3. Bellwood proj. 8-2 (5-1) - Probably are the best team in d6 A but will lose to Richland in week 10
4. Portage proj. 7-2 (4-1) - Have been pretty strong so far, but will probably lose a close one to HC in week 10
5. Bishop Guilfoyle proj. 7-3 (4-2) - Looked pretty strong last night, but I believe CC should beat them this week
6. Juniata Valley proj. 7-3 (4-2) - Haven't seen them play but will probably lose a close one to Tussey this week
7. Blairsville proj. 6-4 (3-3) - I believe they can make it in with a strong playoff push, however i think they will lose to Portage
8. Williamsburg proj. 6-4 (3-3) - The pirates are another team I can see finishing strong with only a loss to NBC

9. Bishop Carroll proj. 5-5 (3-3) - With their QB out for season (maybe), they could lose two more to Bedford and Johnstown
10. Northern Cambria 5-5 (2-4) - I think they should be able to win their remaining games except LV, could get in the playoffs if they get lucky

Being a Portage fan I hope they make some noise, but I'm gonna say if Bellwood goes down early look out for JV as the surprise team

Single A playoffs go with the bracket system or do they "reset" to highest seed vs lowest seed in second round as well?

BA's been getting better and better every week. They lost a close game to Tyrone in week 1 and will most likely lose on the road last game of the season to a TOUGH Richland team, but both of BA's losses will come to D6 AA Powerhouses. I see BA winning districts again this year, I think BG, PM, and HC can give them a good game but I think BA has to much firepower with Senior Casey Gray at RB and a typical solid BA football team supporting him. BA is on track to win back-to-back district championships
