106 might have some lesser talent winning like maybe Cunningham (Blairsville) or Matson (Ligonier Valley) who really is a great wrestler!

Ridge is looking to be really solid as a team this year.
106-Aaron Burkett
113-Blake Dunlap
120-Derrick Claar
126-Trent Crouse
145-Kyle Winegardner
152- Austin Buttry, senior (285: 40-8, D5 2nd, SW Regional 4th, State 5th)
Other people they have back:
Sam Shank- 120-138 range
Colby Hillegass- 132-145 range
Conner Buttry- 160-170
Additions: Morgan Deremer. (120-138)Very highly talked about freshman.
Hopefully everyone's weight works out so they can get the most talent on the mat. I think they will be very solid all the way from 106 up through around 160, then they have some holes to fill until they get Buttry at 220-HWT.

Ridge appears to be the team to beat. It stands to reason being that they were fourth in the State last year. I don't think we
will see Austin at 152 :-s I am sure that must have been a type-O. There will be a couple matches CR matches I will circle and attend

Crouse and Claar aren't going to see those weights! Although, towards those upperweights they aren't going to stand a chance! I'm telling you! BERLIN is going to open lots of eyes! In the Westpac they should have atleast 6-7 champs!
And believe me I don't attend Berlin nor do I like them I'm a BEDFORD BISON 4 life! But, they're going to be REALLY tough!

No dual meet is scheduled. However individuals could meet at district duals, Thomas, D5, SW & PIAA.

Chestnut Ridge has significantly changed their schedule. In is PowerAde @ Canon Mac, Athens tournament, Ultimate Duals @ Brookville and a regular match with Phillipsburg. Out is the Mount Carmel tournament, Chambersburg Duals, Berlin Duals, and Central Cambria.

Coach Lazor has really beefed up their schedule. I think it will make them better. CR went from having 1 of the weakest schedules in D-5 to now the toughest. CR is lucky to have him there as a coach.

I would have to agree with Left eye on the Lazor remark. He is a class act and great coach. Any team would be lucky to have him.
I also agree with WrasslerKing, Berlin will be stout and should most likely give CR all they can handle and if Crouse and Claar do bounce
up in weight like all are indicating I think it may actually hurt them but, I suppose their coach will have them all at positions where he
feels they can help the team the most. I guess we will see soon enough as the season is just around the corner.

These are last years weights at the end of the season. It was Conner Buttry at 52.

I think you will see some large jumps in weights for several guys that are returning.

CR graduated 4 upper weight seniors with over 30 wins each (Bollman, Dibert, D. Albright, B. Winegardner). That is tough to replace, but I think you will see some guys step into those weights and do very well. CR is solid top to bottom, no doubt, but will not walk through D5 without a fight from Bedford and Berlin. It's a shame only one of those 3 dual teams will advance to state duals.
