Well BA is a big A school, McCort should b AA and carrol hasn't had good teams since the early 2000s
Portage only graduating 60 kids a year is doing a hell of a job in football

It'll be interesting to see the BA-BC game. I have said that this bellwood antis team is better than last year. I feel like that showed last weekend as they were able to hang with richland, a team that has blown out almost all of the LHAC. But don't be surprised if BC pulls out an upset as like most games this week i believe it will be decided by Turnovers.

The sad thing is schools like Marion Center (181 boys) and United ( 151 boys) Can't keep kids playing.

PIAA Boys enrolment numbers according to the PIAA website.
PM 94
HC 116
Portage 112
Bellwood 179
Juniata 97
Blairsville 154
Bishop Guilfoyle 129
Bishop Carrol 95
The cut off for A classification is 185.
By Comparison AA
Richland 215
Ligonier Valley 228
Forest Hills 221
Another reason that the PIAA needs to go to more classifications for the playoffs like Texas and Florida.

yes, agreed. Though I enjoy the fact that PM with 94 and HC with 116 can beat Ligonier with 228

Yes it is nice. I just think that it's great to see the small schools at least compete with the larger schools. I know when your on the field it's man on man. But I think the larger pool you have to choose from the better chance you have at finding better talent.
