HELLO RAVEN
I'M CERTAINLY GLAD YOU CUT YOUR YEARLY STATS AT 15-20 YEARS BECAUSE RIGHT BEFORE
THOSE GLORY YEARS AT TYRONE FROM 1989-1994 THEY HAD FOOTBALL ON THE BACK BURNER.
THAT IS WHEN THE LOCALS STAYED HOME ON FRIDAY EVENINGS AND ANOTHER BIRD FAMILY
THE BUZZARDS CIRCLED GRAY FIELD.

Huntingdon is like Bedford. They would be on my list if this wasn't just the last 15-20 years. Since it is, neither would be on my list. They both would be if we are talking 30-50 years.
A team like Juniata Valley has been pretty good and maintained consistent winning ways in the last 15 years. Northern Bedford is similar in that they have a lot of wins in the last 15 years as well but neither has a championship to show for it. Southern Huntingdon has been very good if you take away the last five years, but you can't do that. I think this is mainly a post talking about consistency.
I think this list would be teams like Forest Hills, Tyrone, Bellwood, McCort, North Star, Berlin, Portage, Juniata Valley, Moshannon Valley, Northern Bedford, and maybe Blairsville. Over 15 years each of these teams probably has no more than 4 losing seasons. Consistency and winning in the regular season is something all of these teams have in common.

Bedford 4 undefeated teams that played in the LHAC in the last 20 years. The list is impressive and not saying Bedford should be on it, but someone referenced Bedford would be if not for the 15-20 years.
Obviously with Bedford's recent history aside from this year I wouldn't include them on the top ten list.

I think the problem is there are just to many good teams in the area for the list to b just 10, I think if u put Berlin, Mo valley, JV and NS on here ur forgetting about Windber I think ud need atleast 9 wins a year to b on a list like this

Aside from the past few years Richland was terrible. So I would have trouble putting them on my list.
FH, Tyrone, BM, B-A, BC are probably ones that go on any list then the next 5 are tough because there are a lot of programs with great tradition in the area.

I'd say 89-93.... In 94 they were 5-5. And from 85-88 they qualified for the playoffs each year, winning AAA in 87, and runner up in 86... And seeing how the program has over 600 wins and under 500 losses since 1921... I wouldn't exactly say they were a Johnny come lately just because of 4 down years(4 diff coaches btw) they were also the team that beat a nationally ranked State college team 28-0 that had a guy named Suey back in the 70's

Agree with Lefteye. To put some figures to Bedford since 1993 see below. I have to give credit on this to Bill Creps and his 200 page, 100 year history of Bedford football book.
137 wins - 90 losses
4 undefeated teams, 4 conference championships, 4 D5 championships (where games were actually played), 1 state quarterfinal appearance, and qualified for D5/6 playoffs 12 times.
Where I think they fall short is that they never won a D5/6 championship and they have basically played .500 ball since 2006. Looks like things are starting to turn around with this young team but we'll see how it goes the next few seasons.
