Chestnut Ridge vs. Burrell
Re: Chestnut Ridge vs. Burrell
Not a chance wrestling great comp. Makes you better. A week off and they will be ready to go

I agree Lionheart, they know they can compete with most of the Schools there, just a move or a matchup here or there! They were 1 decision match of being to the next round. Look at Hamburg and where they may end up. Easily could have been CR. All things considered, a good confidence builder, especially for next year.

No i agree they could have very easily been in the next round of the duals, however you cannot deny that CR's season has been very long: Towanda duals, Brookeville Duals, Powerade, Thomas, District Duals, State Duals and dual meets. My main concern with CR this season wasnt going to be the kids performing but being able to perform come the end of the season. Thats a very difficult and long schedule.Hilly177 wrote:I agree Lionheart, they know they can compete with most of the Schools there, just a move or a matchup here or there! Once they step on the mat at districs the energy level will be crazy high and they will be ready to go. I also predict a few wins over kids that may have beat them early in the season, the high level these kids have had to compete in also has risen their skills and it will show up in the post season.

It will help them. Kudos to CR for stepping up and wrestling a tough schedule this year. They have their program headed in the right direction.
