hardest working
i don't doubt for one second that it was a contributing factor. probably a great factor! all I was doing was attacking the comment that "marko isn't even a good coach" made by old school. there are many factors that go into developing a good wrestler. i guess all i'm saying is that comment made by old school was way off the mark and i tried to provide some little known information to prove my point.

Marko has been dealt some talent, but he has also helped take some kids to the next level. He helps kids perform at the highest level they can and beyond.
Matt Mussleman was JO state champ, bulldog, and I'm sure Critter had to have placed pretty well at JO states.

There is so much truth to what packerfan says about not being able to tell who works the hardest. Success is a result of both hard work and luck. You cannot just sit back and expect to win. The thought that other teams will just lay down for you because you have had past success is absurd. That mentality, in my opinion, has hurt Forest Hills in a way this year. Most coaches will tell you (if they are truthful) that luck has alot to do with gaining success on the mat, but you will not be successful and improve unless you dedicate yourself to your work no matter what you do in life.
1st of all, I've been around Coach Marko since he arrived in the big hearted town of Claysburg...He is a great coach and great person..The reason I consider him great is because,,he made the kids like Tipton,Ickes',musselman's,Benton and Whetstone better then they already were,,,Don't get me wrong,,these kids did accomplish alot before coach Marko arrived but that didn't stop him from wanting more for them...He pushes all of the boys (no matter who you are) so they can reach their full potential,,Talk to some of these kids and they will be the 1st to tell you how much coach has done for them,,on and OFF the mat....What makes him a great coach is he does just as much outside of wrestling for these kids as he does on the mat...alot of these boys would have hung wrestling up early if it wouldn't have been for coach Marko..He is a great person to be around and very very knowledgable about the sport(take my word for it I know) Well enough said...Keep up the great work Coach Marko,,don't worry I got your back ,,, Good luck tonight against Bedford ,,go get win #16
I am in shock that people don't think of him as a good coach. Who is good in your opinion then?? I know some of these CK guys too....the guys on the team this year that are really wrestling so much better than I EVER thought they could. Honestly.........wow

CK has a good program and probobly wouldnt be where it is if it werent for coach marko, even though i havent seen them wrestle many matches this year i did wrestle mosser at the bedford tourney and he works very hard on the mat, he didn't quit at all, and didn't seem like he got worn out, so i'm guessing thats the way it is the whole way through their line-up. Keep up the hard work.

this is an open forum, so i can say whatever i want as long as it's clean.....and whoever said that Marko isnt even a good coach is a complete idiot and oblivious to the sport of wrestling. if you don't consider Marko a good coach, you should not call yourself a wrestling fan. and who are you, seriously, to claim to know what makes a good coach... Marko puts up with alot of crap...ALOT...from opposing team's fans...and he puts his whole life into his job....so until you get 100 wins ...shut your mouth...
