Really glad Gar Nova didn't stick with Pitt, he's Tino reincarnated.
Penn State didn't look all that great tonight, but they found a way to win. They should win the next two games and move to 5-0.

Penn State did not look that good, because they aren't that good. I don't think many expected them to be. They have a few very good players and a lot of holes. But, to possibly start 5-0 is pretty good. Anything that gets them to a bowl game this year and lets their young players get 15 more practices is a bonus.
6-0 or 5-1 going into a OSU whiteout will be huge for recruiting.

If Penn State doesn't find a run game soon it'll be hard to consistently win these close games.

I came away with an impression and a question. The oline and play selection for 3 qtrs was as bad as I've seen at d1 level. My question is... How can Hackenberg be late and behind every pass the whole game, and throw darts that Brady would be proud of at end? He has talent but he's maddening.

Credit the defense and Gary Nova for keeping PSU in it for 3 quarters! Defense was "above the line".
