Is this game about the kids, or about the egos of the adult coaches?

Go ahead and try to convince me that it's about the kids.

From what I understand, Richland contacted fh about playing the game. So ask Richland what their motive is?

As a former player I would love to be in this situation! 2 undefeated teams even in junior high I would love it! I always hated the lack of playoffs. A championship game like this is great for players experience, fans and just a fun situation. Its a win win win all around

If both teams want to do it, good for them. I don't have a problem with it.

After that we'll ask FH what their motive was in accepting the invitation. But seriously, if both schools agreed to it, why do we feel its necessary to pass judgement. Good luck to both teams!

Well if you want to see Forest Hills starting QB for next season make sure you check out this game.
But in all seriousness isn't the point of Junior high football and even JV football to teach these kids the game of football. And keep them interested so that your diamonds in the rough are still part of the team whEn they are in high school.

When is the JV championship game?

How about the junior high districts?

Am not sure that FH has accepted it, have they. OF course, if they say no, then it will be what were they afraid of. Can you imagine if BG and Somerset were not scheduled to play during the regular season this year?

I just never understood, if you play little league for any sport from ages 7-12 you play in a league championship or playoff. If you play HS athletics from age 15-18, you play for the playoffs or a championship. But for some reason, you play school sanctioned sports from ages 13-15, nope season over. That's it.

What player or coach or anyone involved wants to play an 8 game football season or a 20 game basketball season without a championship game? They hand out a trophy anyway, what's the harm in having one more game?

Some people like to complain just for the sake of complaining.

I agree with crimson! This is a great learning opportunity for these players to get a feel for a playoff like environment.
