If Alabama loses, does an SEC team get in? The conference is clearly overrated as the ACC just beat the hell out of them this week.

Let's not make the ACC going 4-0 against the SEC today more than what it is. Arguably the 4 best teams in the ACC beat Georgia and 3 other SEC teams that are .500 or worse. GA Tech was the only one that wasn't favored to win.

Well Mississippi State is gone.
As of 8:52 during the second quarter of the Alabama game

1. Alabama 10-1 still playing Auburn. Missouri next week.
2. Oregon 10-1 still playing OSU. Arizona next week.
3. Florida State 12-0 Georgia tech next week.
4. TCU 10-1 Iowa State next week.
5. Baylor 10-1 Kansas State next week.
6. Ohio State 11-1 Wisconsin next week.

It will probably be those teams and that top 4 but I don't see Baylor jumping Ohio St. with a 2 point win over Texas Tech. As long as Alabama and Oregon win.

They said injuries would be taken into consideration for playoff rankings, and Barrett is out for the year for OSU. They aren't cutting tOSU any breaks with their third string QB.

Crimson - Baylor's QB Bryce Petty ALSO left their game in the 3rd Quarter with a Concussion.

That's interesting, that was like the only game I didn't at least flip to today - so I missed that.

Petty had a minor concussion, expected to play next week. Barrett is out for the year. Makes you evaluate them a little differently going forward.

2 things this week:

Clear top 4 right now (Bama, TCU, FSU, Oregon)

4 Teams who are still in it (Arizona, Baylor, Ohio State, Kansas State)

Outside chance (Miss State, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin, Missouri)

2nd thing: Pitt had an awesome win today and pretty much solidified them as the best PA team this year. Penn State has some big problems to fill, including a under performing QB.
