I am sure he has his reasons. As far as Berlin beating Ridge I think that may be a bit of a reach. Possible (yea, I guess anything is possible)
Obviously, with him it would have been more attainable. However, it is his decision and I am sure he has weighed the pros and cons.
I wish I could offer a bit more insight but, I do not have any additional information on the subject. All I have is second hand information.

A question for CRWizard Is that big heavyweight (Davis I think) still on Ridge's team? I didn't see him in the tournament results.

He was invited to play football in the East-West Football bowl in Texas this past weekend. He is ready to go for Ridge this year.

Didn't I see him wrestle a match already this year? Did he quit?

As far as I know Davis is on the team. I know he was invited to go play in a national football game in Texas so he would miss one weekend for that.

Ridge has not wrestled a Dual match yet.

Well a congrats to him. Must be pretty good on the Grid Iron. I'm guessing he will be playing college ball somewhere if he is getting
invited to All Star games out of state. (Pretty impressive).
