Swank with a takedown to lead 5-3 with 20 to go
Swank gives the escape and gets taken down and loses 6-5

Win 2 before you lose 2 = trip to states. Pretty sure that's how it works.

For those who said there's no reason to take another person from each district this year, D6 5 seed Seth Baney made it to states at 145. Glad the lower seeds are showing up tonight!

and at 113 D6 #5 Benson beat D7 champ and lost a close 9-8 match to Keiper in which Benson controlled. Yes D6 #5 showed up!

All semifinalists make it to states this year with each weight taking 6 wrestlers. Even if the D6-5 seeds that are in the semis lose there next two matches and end up with a sixth place finish they go to states. My reasoning for not wanting to take more wrestlers to states was from the info provided of what D6-4 seeds did at regionals last year. With more places allocated, the chances of more lower seeds making it to states is very possible and almost likely. I'd still like to see if any D6-5 seeds place higher than 6th at regionals and can win some matches at states.
