I remember seeing that game on TV. In those days, there was NOT 25 different games on each and every Saturday. There might have only been about 4 different games on the WHOLE day. When you were on TV, people saw you play that game all over the nation. That day, people got a good look at what JoePa was really like.

This thread is great. Some really funny stuff. Pitt fans and their inferiority complex. Still obsessed over a guy that's been dead for almost 4 years.

What was the attendance of the Pitt player meet and greet at Heinz field the other day? They have 2 potential Heisman candidates, you would think some excitement would grow around that program.
