Two years ago, my U19 PaWest team played 1A and that's pretty much as high up as you go. We travelled the whole way to Wheeling West Virginia for one game, went to Jeanette, Plum, and Mount Pleasant. We were supposed to play the Laurel Highlands teams, too, but they punked out on us, YAY for forfeits, YAY for a winning season. If you do go 1A, be prepared to travel. Its a lot of fun, though....every time I had to go real far away, I was always impressed by the field. They were always so nice. There are teams in Somerset, but I'm not sure if can just specify certain teams to play. I think that if you join a certain division, you have to play all the teams on the schedule, no matter how far away they are.

Sounds like an awesome opportunity to travel like that and play teams from all around. Also a way to learn a good bit too. I'm all up for it if theres a club team for me to join.

I remember playing club in 8th grade. We played at places like Clearfield, DuBois, Altoona, Hollidaysburg, and State college.. Those were fun times. It was a county club team- we had a winning record and that was the first year we had the opportunity to play on an all girls team. I remember some of our players were Natalie Logue, Jen Saracino, Steph Gibbons, Crissey Leydig, Sarah Hocker, Ashley Athey, Tiff Satzer, and the notorious Britta Snowberger. Half of our team now plays for the girls Bedford varsity.

the bedford county soccer club...what a great organization!! hahahaha. i played one year for them, then decided when our coach told me the best way to kick the ball to get better distance and accuracy was to toe it, that i better find a new team!

Yea i would have to agree when a coach tells you to toe ball it to get better accuracy it is time to leave.
Was this some know nothing parent or some retard who showed how clueless he was by opening his mouth.
If it was a parent it just reinforces my statement that parents should not be coaching teams above the rec or ayso level.
