Don't get me wrong, Clairton has to get past Avonworth and then Shenango and CWNC/Jeannette to even face Berlin again. There's always a possibility of that game not even happening. I kinda hope Berlin gives Clairton, or any D7 team it faces, all that they can handle. Going strong for 4 Quarters only helps Clairton for games going forward.... With that said, I'd be an idiot to say BG is not the favorite at this point.

I actually think d6 and d5 have 3 of the top 5 teams this year in A.

I have not seen Berlin play but by the sounds of others they must be the real deal. That would really be something if they were able to knock off Clairton.

I don't think you could say BG is the favorite though when they lost so many skill players from last years team. I think most people would have Clairton as the favorite against them if they were to play again. Clairton still has Wade and Matthews that I know of, but did they lose a lot of other guys from last year?

Nothing personal animus but I think clariton should be on probation from this year's playoffs due to their actions last season .. That being said I think it will come down to clariton vs Old Forge

Konjo, I think Penns Manor is having an outstanding season and has some really good football players but there is absolutely no way that they can beat Guilfoyle. The fact that they beat Somerset 31-14, McCort 56-3, Cambria Heights 42-0, Westmont 49-7, Johnstown 34-0 shows me that there is absolutely no team that can beat BG in the district playoffs.

On paper, but it would appear that it is OK to act like they did, because you still get in to the Playoffs the next year, a one year playoff ban might have sent a better message.

you would think that, but after seeing them live....they are just as good as last year.
