Kinda sucks about tonight. Really wanted to see this game. ESPN takes it upon themselves to set up these quirky events and they don't think them through. Thankfully both teams got out of there without an injury, but they played the game in an old airplane hanger without Windows or air conditioning in the middle of a jungle, what did they think would happen?

Yeah it's obviously about money, and of course I agree giving back to the troops and doing something like that for them. If I were stationed in Japan and there was a college basketball game I would be excited. But there are actual based on US soil too, and they would have been fine places to host the game.

As for the game itself, Pitt was playing well and it seemed the court got bad with about 8 minutes to go in the half and it appeared to bother Pitt more than Gonzaga. Still encouraged to see them leading Gonzaga at the half and they had the rebounding edge.  Next actual test will be December 1 with #23 Purdue coming to the Pete.

So, this might not count as a win, but goes it give them points with the selection committee?

Someone brought up a good point it's like when a judge tells the jury "disregard that last statement" type of situation. Maybe they aren't supposed to take it into the equation but if it comes down to it, the committee knows Pitt was battling a top 10 team on a neutral floor.

Anyone going to the UPJ game tonight, hosting the Cal U Vulcans? Gotta check out the new faces. Looks like AJ Leahey is the man this yr. Sam Clancy's kid is a decent PG also. How much has Ike Vescovi grown, size-wise and as a college player? New guy Olando King also starting, must be pretty athletic.
