only makes sense...I always say this time of year rankings take care of themselves

This one is interesting... The last time Bedford and Karns City squared off (2009 @ NBC I do believe) a lot of people didn't give the Bisons a chance to win. What a game that was with a terrific ending. Fastforward to 2015 and we could be set up for another doozy. I think this Bedford squad has the ability to make a very deep run in the state tourney; they play fast, physical and very opportunistic. The only thing that would possibly be a concern to me is coming out flat and letting a past penalty problem sneak up and bite them in their hind-parts.
I am eagerly anticipating the 160 mile drive from Southern New York state to watch this game. I can't go against my heart here...
Bedford 35
Karns City 27

Why is this game @ Karns City?

They (whoever "they" are - PIAA, D5/D9) agreed to play the game at home teams own field instead of neutral site, which was never really neutral anyhow. Last year the game was played at Chestnut Ridge. This years it's D9 turn to host, so it is at KC's field. Save $$$ on renting a field maybe?

Well I understand it being at Ridge or a field close to KC's, but to really make it an official home game isn't right.

But Ridge played KC last year and it was at Ridge's field. When Bedford played them before it was at NBC. Might as well have been played at Bedford. I wish in these games they picked a truly neutral site somewhere close to halfway between the two.

I grew up in District 9 and had the pleasure of playing high school football at a ksac school and being dismantled every year by Karns city. As chance would have it I live near Bedford now and have been to quite a few Bedford games this year. I think Bedford wins this by at least 2 touchdowns. KC is a perennial powerhouse in District 9, however lets look at the competition....mostly single A teams, Clarion had a down year, and most jv teams could beat AC Valley.
Bedford is in a weak district having no real district postseason competition , however I saw this team beat up on a very athletic Johnstown team (who beat Clearfield and Somerset in AAA). Bedford also handled Somerset, last years AAA runner up and they scrimmaged BG (last years A champ). Bedford is very good all around, they have the speed to keep up with KC even on turf, and their D pressures the qb often. Cook is for real running the ball, one weak spot may be at qb where I've seen #10 make some poor throws. KC will have the homefield and maybe the edge in coaching from playing this deep into November almost every year, but Bedford isn't redbank, clarion, or moniteau. Bedford 35 KC 20.... I think Bedford can compete with the WPIAL champ and make a legit state run.

Prediction-
I see Bedford being able to slow down the KC offense (52PPG) and rushing attack (350YPG). I don't think according to max preps Bedford has give up 100 yards rushing yet this season. The key will be if Bedford plays clean on O. If they limit penalties and TO's I think Bedford has a big night. If they play sloppy it will be a really tight ball game. I see Bedford being balanced enough with run and pass and having some success. But #32 needs a big night for Bedford.
I'll take Bedford 27 KC 19.
Also on #10 You have to realize that you can't be a great option QB and a great passing QB IMO. He is a GREAT option QB, he is a pretty good passing QB, combined they make for a great HS football player. Bedford has a very storied program. I think he is Bedford's all time leading Passer, All Purpose yards leader and career points leader... They are where they are over the past 3 years in a large part because of what #10 has done.
