The talk I had heard was that for AAA D5,8,9 would stay the same as it has for playoffs. I would hope they would combine it like you stated but we all know the PIAA rarely does the smart thing.
I think Bedford could have a 6 or 7 win season without looking at their schedule and not knowing what all the other schools return. They did graduate everyone but the younger kids are decent and did get quite a bit of game experience.

Ridge,Everett, and Bedford made the list out of speculation. I don't know what they'll do. Is Ridge gonna stay in D5 by themselves? Makes sense on a lot of accounts to combine D5 and D9 in certain scenarios. We'll find out soon enough.
Bedford in section II of the LHAC has room to win games. Johnstown and McCort are the only two teams with a lot coming back. Somerset, Bedford, Westmont, and Richland have to reinvent themselves a tad.

Any reason behind the Forest Hills 7-3 prediction? I couldn't get a good feel for them, but it looks like they will be awfully dependent on a sophomore QB. Do they have backs? Line? Rangers have been in a bit of a 5-6 win rut lately. I'd like to see them snap out of it.

Dist. 6 AA should NOT be close. Ligonier V will be much much better in 2016 with 11 on defense and 8 on offense returning.

Ligonier has a chance to be very good, but I think there's a few teams that'll be able to hang with them. Collin Smith is a tremendous player and they should be the favorites, but they aren't a slam dunk either.

I think that might be a little high but close. I would say they go 5-5 and at best 6-4. I think they lack a big and strong enough line on both sides to lose a game or 2 they shouldn't. They Should beat a few of the teams easily and pick up a free win against a BC team that I'm betting wont field a team.

My actual feel also, is 6-4. 7-3 is do-able.

This is the ICC schedule for 2016 and 2017. Home and Away flip flops in 2017

I'm pleased that they're shaking the schedule up, but i am disappointed we are dropping Penns Valley.
As for the MU next year, we return a good bit at the skill positions, but the line could be a huge question mark.
