From a coach I know who coaches in the westpack, he did tell me that their JV team was one in the same as their varsity team minus maybe 3 or 4 players. So it could be expected that they win a few JV games. I wasn't trying to sound like a smart alec, I was seriously wondering why you made that prediction. Thought maybe you had some inside info on a few transfers. lol.

The lower end of the WestPAC has been very bad of late. With some effort, Ferndale could easily win a few.peytonsaturday wrote:From a coach I know who coaches in the westpack, he did tell me that their JV team was one in the same as their varsity team minus maybe 3 or 4 players. Was the rockwood program planning on coming back? Of course they may need a co op (Turkeyfoot, Geibel etc.).

They already co-op with Berlin for football although I do not know the end date of that agreement.Big Ike wrote:Was the rockwood program planning on coming back? Of course they may need a co op (Turkeyfoot, Geibel etc.).

I agree with Ferndale making a jump. Their junior and sophomore class is very strong. Last year was the first time Ferndale had JV and they picked up a couple wins. That team just needs to get a W under its belt and it could surprise many teams. I wouldn't want to be BV going into Ferndale for the Jackets' home opener under the lights. Calling it right now, if Ferndale stays healthy, 5 or 6 wins.
