And Young barely played due to an ankle injury sustained the previous week

Yeah I'm looking at his game log from that season, he had a season high 32 carries against McCort, then had 7 in the state semi's and a pretty pedestrian 20 carries for 81 yards on Clairton, and they still won the game.

I had posted this site quite awhile ago. Unfortunately it only goes back to 2001, I had thought there was more history prior
http://www.calpreps.com/cgi-bin/2016/project_matchup.pl
FYI on a couple of matchups everyone keeps talking about
[2016] Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA) 31, [2016] Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA) 20
[2016] Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA) 41, [2016] Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) 14
[2016] Central (Martinsburg, PA) 35, [2016] Huntingdon (PA) 14
[2016] Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA) 22, [2016] Clearfield (PA) 19
[2016] Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) 44, [2016] Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA) 6

Most of the stuff I did seemed pretty realistic. Until I did Last years Berlin team against Altoona...Berlin 35 - Altoona 6. That's a stretch and a half

Not really when you think that Berlin beat Clairton by 2 tds. You would imagine that Clairton was 2 tds better than Altoona last year.

Well are we assuming BG would have beaten Altoona the past 2 years and this year?

Just because you are a big school doesn't mean you are a good team. Altoona has been terrible the past two years.

Altoona probably would have won in 2014 (Givens senior year) but 2015 and 2016 BG wins easily.

I understand this, but they should be big enough to overpower a small public school.
