Good for him. Love to see more local kids get rewarded. Marco Pecora got into Pitt in a similar situation and has done very well as defensive coordinator. Matt Ruhl , current Baylor coach went to PSU and parlayed that into a big time coaching career. Good luck to Hoenstine, Hite. And now Denver Light

I'm guessing they were on the way to Mansion Park to see the 5A semi tonight and thought why not stop at Tyrone.

They are actually in Danville for the Southern Columbia game.

Reportedly they were at Hollidaysburg HS also to speak with the Kicker there

Yes. Coach Franklin also visited a lineman at altoona high and the kicker at hollidaysburg. The kids really enjoyed seeing him at school yesterday. I think the staff and administration did as well based on some of the pics I saw posted on social media. Cool experience for everyone.

Coaches may like the kid as a walk-on
