How did Ligonier do?

Despite losing several of their stars, LV fought valiantly only to come up short. I’m extremely proud of those young men. Now I can’t wait for the Wildcats to bring the gold home. I could not be happier for Laurel Valley grad, Coach Page Jr. for mentoring this special group of young men!

While it’s great that another local team advanced to the state final it’s a shame that it’s a program like homer center.

Don’t get me wrong the kids on the team in no way shape or form do anything at all wrong. That being said the parents and fans are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ve went to games at homer before and have seen them berate and insult people who aren’t from homer. I distinctly remember during a timeout at the bg game a homer fan was screaming extremely foul and offensive language across the field at the bg players and fans. I’ve talked to numerous fans from both bg and portage who said that homer fans have gotten in there face and insulted them after games.

Again after all of that I want to stress that the kids from homer are doing a great job and the whole area is proud to have another d6 team in the final but the fans from homer really need to learn the old motto “ you win with class and you lose with class”

If you can't root for Homer, there is not a school you can root for.   Well coached, hard nosed, and respectful.   Plus. they don't come on here and tell us how good they are.

You guys are missing what I meant while I don’t root for homer I do support them since they’re a area team in the final. And yes every team had bad fans it’s just the many I’ve encountered from homer are the worst hell bg portage forest hills they all have bad fans but at games at those schools I’ve never had fans get in my face and trash talk like the homer fans do 

Negativity bias. You see what you look for. 
Homer has great fans. Go Homer!
